In addition to my clinical practice, I am a teacher and consultant within the analytic training program at the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. I also offer clinical consultation in my private practice for licensed therapists and helping professionals who wish to deepen their work through a Jungian and depth-psychological perspective. I have taught and presented extensively in the Bay area and nationally, including in the Expressive Arts Therapy Program at John F. Kennedy University for over twenty years.
As a Consultant, I approach a wide range of psychodynamics from a Jungian and depth-psychotherapeutic perspective. My work focuses on relational dynamics, symbolic communication, and the cultivation of embodied presence within the therapeutic relationship. I support clinicians in deepening their capacity for presence through embodiment practices and through engaging reverie and active imagination in their own minds and bodies. We can also explore ways of inviting imaginal and body-based processes into the work with patients, guided by each person’s needs and inclinations. Together, we create a reflective space to explore countertransference as a way of understanding the relational field of the therapeutic dyad, and to develop greater confidence in working with the unconscious, dreams, creativity, and the transformative processes at the heart of depth psychotherapy.
As a Teacher and Lecturer, I offer seminars and trainings that bridge theory and lived experience. These seminars and training topics also inform my work as a consultant.
